Lead files emailed from clients or downloaded from the show's web server
are transfered to a secure server by a
Database Administrator and the name and location of the file are stored
in a MySQL table. No other individuals involved in the processing have
access to the original file which, prevents unauthorized downloads,
viewing or printing of the confidential customer data.
This process requires that the unique format of the leads file be mapped
into a common format for processing. Years of experience have enabled us
to built software systems to assist in this complex process.
During the upload process the data is checked for errors and omissions
in such key areas as zip codes, email address and duplicate records.
If errors cannot be resolved by the processor the leads are emailed to
the client for resolution. Alternatively, clients can contract for on-line
access to the leads processing module to directly make error corrections.
Rather than manually entering the lead form used at the event into the
RapidResponse system we uniquely build an electronic lead form during the import
process based on the actual data captured at the show. This eliminates
errors caused by changes made on the trade show floor or failing to
update the lead form name in the data.
Upon completion of all of the client's contracted services and sign off
by the client, the leads are purged from the RapidResponse system to maintain
security unless TPC Software is specifically contracted to maintain lead archives.
